Usually, I'm not learning anything high-falutin'. It's the simple things that make life extraordinary...an aura of thanksgiving, the indescribable warmth of a faithful husbands'embrace, the rhythmic breath-sounds of a longed-for baby. God is good. Jesus is real. And my life is evidence of that--even on the tough days. As a follower of Jesus Christ, a wife and mother, and the wife of a pastor, I am honoured to share what God is doing in my life, to His glory.

It's all about the food...

Bananas are an easy pick, and guilt-free. And a friend said the reason I'm craving chocolate is cuz my body needs vitamin C. How much C in a Coffee Crisp? So miracle babe #3 is getting lots to eat, and I'm now gaining poundage way faster than I think I should. Time to slow down I 'spect.
Maybe it's the mixture of food and naps that are adding the pounds. Too little in and too little out. Nah. I'm prego, and I'm trying to feed my brain, in hopes that my memory will return.
This morning I put a roast in the crock pot and thought, "I need to add some water". By the time I turned my body toward the sink, I'd forgotten I needed water. And after listening to the answering machine, I promptly dismissed the whole request therein from my brain. Milliseconds here folks. Ouch!
Well, after two years of silence, I'm blogging again. Maybe two years from now I'll add another post. Gotta go. The butter has melted on the hot, fresh bran muffins. They have C in 'em don't they?
